Something is wrong with what MapUpdater is doing on your Nuvi as it should normally just replace the gmapprom.img, gmapdem.img, gmap3d.img and gmaptz.img, and there related small. gma files with new files of the same name. I wonder, have you ever attempted to "clone" your 3790 using alanb's cloning process? If you have, have you used the SD card in your Nuvi to perform the "clone"? If so have you deleted the gupdate.gcd file from the SD card? and no Map folder would be created or needed.Īlso the normal split screen JCV file would be replaced. ![]()
